i swear to fade away with you i swear to fade away with you

Today i say:

2:04 am}

the day was hot and baked in the warm gaze of the sun, and the moisture from the early morning rain storm thickened and softened the air. but upon arrival of nightfall, the velvet coolness seeped from the black ground beneath our bare feet, and drifted with reviving freshness through the trees. the smell of the night wafted around us and lingered on our skin and in our hair. and when we touched we felt the night sky and every spark that mirrored a star.

Hmm, when I write, I wonder if the length (compared to a story that's measured in paragraphs) would make up for the "lack" of description. Like yours for instance is packed with description which provides a photograph in my mind. My writing is more vague, and I try to leave a lot of the imagination open to the reader... yet I get told how well I describe things! What the...?!

Anyway, your writing is short, but full of vivid images.

sometimes my writing is not as image-packed as i would hope. but honestly, i only like my own writing and find it has good descriptions in it when i'm describing something real that i just felt or experienced.
i wrote this last night on my cell phone. as usual. x3
